Earth Communication system - pictographic

January 7, 2021 I created this diagram as a way to put on paper my hypothesis of how the communication system on planet Earth works. I worked in the telecom industry for 25 years as a Computer Scientist, Project Manager and Process Improvement engineer. I have a passion for teaching emotional intelligence and co-developed a course teaching emotional intelligence to teenagers that was very well received by over 400 students. I guess in some way I still have a bit of imposter syndrome lol Update: June 16, 2022. I now have plans in place to purchase a ham radio because the situation on the planet has not improved enough in the past year for me to have confidence that internet disruptions and censorship will disconnect my from my local trust network here in Costa Rica.
